The Legend of the Dipper.

Once upon a time, a poor little girl lived with her mother in a small cottage in the woods. One day, her mother fell ill. Since there was no water in the house, the little girl had to go out to fetch some water for her mother.
As she was walking back home, she met very thirsty dog. Though there was very little water in the dipper, she poured some into dog's mouth. And lo! The wooden dipper was transformed into silver and was full again. Too tired to notice the change, the girl met a thirsty stranger a little further down the road. She held the dipper into man's lips and this time, the dipper was changed into gold. Finally the girl reached home. After drinking the water, her mother quickly regained her health and became strong again. This time the dipper was filled up with diamonds and sparkling jewels. The girl's mother was delighted. Now all their problems were solved and they were no longer poor.
Moral of the Story: We never know when we meet someone like God in our life.

In the legend of the dipper, when the mother drinks from the dipper it doesn't change. But a stranger comes to the door before the girl gets any water, and she tells him he can have the rest. He drinks, and it changes to diamond. Then he spills the last of the water on the ground, and a fountain springs up with enough water for everyone. The dipper disappears with the stranger, but they look up and find the diamonds shaped like a dipper in the sky, which serve to remind everyone of the kind girl's unselfishness.
